Jazz in Barbados August 9 – 15, 2013

“It’s important to help people understand how valuable and important Jazz is; to make them understand that this music is theirs, that it’s a part of them . . .” Kenny Burrell – American jazz guitarist whose style is grounded in bebop and blues. Burrell has recorded with many prominent musicians, and has led his own groups on many well-received albums. Ellington called Kenny Burrell his “favorite guitarist.”
