“As long as musicians have passion for spontaneity & creating something that’s never been before, jazz will flourish.” – Charlie Haden, an American double bassist known for his association with saxophonist Ornette Coleman. Haden is also known for his signature lyrical bass line featured with the Charlie Haden Quartet West, and thematic exploration of music from films of the 1930s and 1940s.
