Join us for a captivating live performance featuring the legendary Barbadian drummer David Burnett, whose rhythms have defined Caribbean music for over three decades.
With a career spanning more than 30 years, David has played with icons such as Mighty Sparrow, Arturo Tappin, Nicholas Brancker, Adrian Clarke, Andre Woodvine, and many more. A staple of the Caribbean music scene, David has graced stages across the region and beyond, delivering unforgettable performances with celebrated bands like Crossfire (now Krosfyah), High Level, Pure Gold, Second Ave., Rhapsody, and on the hotel and club circuits.
As a longtime member of the Barbados Festival Band and the Caribbean Song Festival Band, David has showcased his talent on both national and international platforms. One of the proudest moments of his career was being a featured artist at the 2009 Barbados Jazz Festival—a performance that solidified his place among the greats.
Today, David shares his knowledge and passion with the next generation as a drum tutor at Notes of Praise Music School, while continuing to perform with Troubadours International.
