Celebrating Young Talent: Aymon Parris Heads to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts

Good afternoon, jazz lovers!

The Barbados Jazz Society is proud to celebrate one of our island’s rising stars in the world of music — 15-year-old Barbadian, Aymon Parris.

Recently, we had the pleasure of making a presentation to Aymon in recognition of his remarkable achievement. He will soon be heading to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts High School, where he will continue to hone his skills in pipe organ and jazz piano.

This opportunity marks a significant milestone in Aymon’s musical journey. His dedication, discipline, and passion for music have brought him to this point, and we have no doubt that his talent will continue to blossom on the international stage.

The Barbados Jazz Society is committed to supporting and showcasing the brilliance of our young musicians, and Aymon’s achievement is a shining example of what can be accomplished with hard work and love for the craft.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Aymon as he embarks on this exciting new chapter. May his journey be filled with rich melodies, inspiring mentors, and endless opportunities to share his music with the world.

Keep soaring, Aymon — Barbados is proud of you!
